From architectural design to interiors, exhibition layouts, product design, and even contributing to spatial installations and artists’ creative projects—our activities are diverse. Yet, underlying them all is a single, common philosophy.
All spaces and objects physically degrade over time, eventually reverting to a state of disorder. This is an undeniable law of nature, often described as the increase of entropy.
We perceive the act of design as the “intentional creation of order” against this powerful, natural current.
This is why creation—the act of establishing order through human “will” and “purpose”—is far more than mere physical resistance to this inevitable pull. It is the very challenge of bringing “meaning” and “value” into our world.
Even if the order we create is but a transient “fiction,” we believe this endeavor to be the most profoundly human and hopeful form of action. This belief drives us to continue creating.
