Marunouchi Urban Vision (2012)
A vision for Marunouchi, conceived in 2012. It is a proposal for a future city looking toward 2050, answering environmental issues through large-scale surface greening, made possible by leveraging its world-class existing underground network.
Stacking Box (Wtaps Special Edition)
Originally a steel box we designed and fabricated for our own studio use. The product caught the eye of the domestic brand "WTAPS," leading to a special edition model finished in their signature olive drab color.
Felt Study (An Homage to Beuys)
Joseph Beuys, a German contemporary artist, famously used materials like fat and felt as "sculpture." This project is a study paying homage to him, prototyping a waste bin and a laptop case using industrial felt.
New Atelier (2010 / Underground Parking Garage Conversion)
In 2010, we relocated our office to Shibuya. The new atelier is a 250 sqm space converted from an underground parking garage, where we have zoned diverse functions—such as work, prototyping, and a kitchen—without using any walls.
Advertising Tower Made of Temporary Scaffolding
An unbuilt project for the Harumi waterfront: an outdoor advertising tower planned prior to a high-rise condominium's construction, which would have pre-used the very scaffolding materials intended for the main project.
V-Legs (A Detachable Table Leg Study)
A product study for simple table legs, cut and bent 90 degrees from V-shaped steel or aluminum plate. Designed for portability, this detachable system bolts onto a tabletop for use in gardens or at campsites.
Y-Legs Study (Table Leg Study)
In structural mechanics, the triangle is the "smallest stable unit" that resists deformation. This project is a study in fabricating "Y-Legs"—four independent table legs—that apply this simple geometric principle to support a rectangular top.

9th Street, New York, NY
While organizing my computer, I found data from a project I worked on in New York in 2006.
A friend was opening a vintage clothing store on 9th Street in Manhattan, and I was responsible for the shop design.
It was a very small shop, only 230 sqf (approx. 21 m²), so I designed a simple plan and fixtures that the owner could build themselves as a DIY project.
